Dear Aunt Gloria, Diane, John and Maria,

I am so sorry that my plans to be at Uncle Al's funeral fell apart the way they did this morning; I was all set to go. Please know that I am with you in prayer and sorrow for your loss, but grateful to God that he gave Uncle Al the grace to grow in faith, in faithfulness and love, for all his years, even in his time of sickness. And 66 years married -- Who could ever top that?!
May he rest in peace and rise in Christ

I have been remembering him in each Mass I have celebrated since Sunday, and will again this Sunday. May the Risen Jesus give you all his peace and strength, and the joy of knowing that there's no more pain or suffering for him, but only peace and light.

Be assured of my prayers for all of you as you mourn his passing. Sorry I can't be there to express it face to face.

Our love and prayers, Mike and Linda Rasicci
