Susan M. (McLuskie) Swejk

Susan M. Swejk (McLuskie) was born on February 3, 1937. She went home to her Lord and Savior on September 17, 2022. She was a member of Annunciation Church, devoting time to the prayer chain, fish fries and the theater club. She also volunteered at Mobile Meals. Susie was a member of the Polish American Citizens Club where she served as a bartender for many years. Playing bridge, a good phone conversation and cheering for the Cavs and Guardians were some of her favorite hobbies. She also dearly loved being a member of “The Debs”, her high school friends from St. V.

Susie was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, David, her parents Hugh and Elizabeth McLuskie and her brothers Robert and Lawrence. She is survived by her children Michael (Laure), Mary Beth, Richard (Terryl) and Edward (Chrysa). She loved her grandchildren Lindsay, Patrick (Gina), Catherine, Andrea, Zachary and Ryan and cherished her great-grandchildren Chase, Willow, Lyla and Jamison. Susie is also survived by her sister-in-law Barbara Smith, brother-in-law Jerry (Judy) Swejk, and many other loving relatives.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Visitation of Mary Parish, Annunciation Church. The service begins at 10:00 am, with a calling hour being held one hour before from 9:00am -10:00 am.
