Patsy (Pat) Alexander

     Patsy (Pat) Alexander passed away on October 7, 2021 at the age of 93.

     Pat was born to John and Amy Alesandrelli on December 15, 1927.  After graduating from North High in 1945, he served in the United States Army.  Pat worked for The Ohio Bell Telephone Company later retiring from The Southern Bell Telephone Company in Myrtle Beach.

     Pat married the love of his life, Jeane Nigh on May 20, 1950.  Together they raised three daughters, Cheri, Susan and Kathy in Cuyahoga Falls.

     Pat was a loving and proud husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Pat.  He was a self-proclaimed "Beach Bum" who found residence for himself and Jeane in Myrtle Beach for 20 years.  His children, grandchildren, family and friends spent many summer vacations at their Myrtle Beach home, playing at the beach and fishing in their backyard.  Pat and Jeane enjoyed traveling and many cruises.  They returned to Cuyahoga Falls in 1999 to be close to their family.  Pat enjoyed Sunday family dinners, walking the mall with his friends and playing bocce ball.  His pleasant personality and smile was contagious to everyone he met.

     Pat was preceded in death by his wife Jeane, parents John and Amy Alesandrelli, sisters Rosalie and Madeline and grandson Joseph.  He is survived by his daughters and son-in-laws Cheri and Keith Baird, Susan and Phil Piazza, Kathy and Jim Delagrange, grandchildren Heather, Sara, Shannon, Brandon, Carla and Philip, and his great-grandchildren Payton, Caiden, Ellie, Alice, June, Gracie and Rocco.  His family will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

     A mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Prince of Peace Parish, 1263 Shannon Ave., Barberton, OH 44203 at 11:00 am.  Family will receive friends at 10:00 am.
