Joseph Randall Lann

Joseph Randall Lann passed away peacefully at home Monday October 18, 2021. He was 67 years old.

Joe was born in Akron, Ohio on Robinette Ct. in North Hill, and lived most of his life in the area alongside his many childhood pals, and relatives.

Joe was an active Antiques Dealer “Picker” and loved investigating the small towns of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York looking for his next “Big One”, meeting many fascinating personalities over the years, especially his good friends in the business who shared in his interest of the great treasure hunt!

His greatest Joy was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, brother, sisters, and extended family… surrounding everyone with high hopes, a big smile, and his unending love. Joe also loved traveling with his North Hill pals to golf and to enjoy their lifelong friendship in Myrtle Beach.

Joe was a man of strong character, and good will, and left many people better off in this world through his good deeds. He was a close friend of Bill W. for over 25 years and he worked hard to mentor those in need.

Preceded in death by his Father Edward, and Mother Susan; Survived by His Wife Linda of 44 years; Children Bobby (Jennifer) Lann, Alicia (Chris) Devericks, Ross (Jaclyn Renee), Grandchildren Tyler (Grandpa’s helper), Zander, Layla, Paige, Simon, Harper, Cambell, Ricky, Rylin; Brother Larry (Beverly) Lann; Sisters Lauren Futo, Linda (Paul) Oleyar, Lucy (John) Esposito; and many extended family members and friends.

Calling Hours will be Sunday, Oct 24th from 2-5 PM at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main Street, Akron.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday 11am at Blessed Trinity Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave. Akron, Ohio.

Internment to occur at a later date.

Masks are required at both the Calling Hours and at Mass due to the health of some in attendance.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: SATURDAY, JUNE 18, 2022 AT  WATER WORKS PARK, 2025 MUNROE FALLS AVE, CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH FROM 12 NOON TO 4 PM.
