Eleanor M. (Severini) Creme

Eleanor M. Creme (Severini)(Nana) 96 went home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born in Dillonvale, Ohio and was raised in Brewster, Ohio. She met the love of her life Mike M. Creme through their relatives after WWII, where Mike served with honors. After 3 turned down proposals, this country girl got on a bus to Akron, OH to finally accept the ring of that city boy.

Eleanor glowed and radiated kindness and goodness to all. Her passions in life were the Lord, family (especially babies), friends, and garage sales. She was a hard worker, an excellent cook and baker, and loved her family. We will always love you Mom (Nana).

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Anna Severini; brothers, Lawrence, Augie and Albert; grandson, Joshua Wade; and her beloved husband of 67 years, Mike Creme.

She is survived by her 6 children Angela (Bruce) Angel, Nick (Gayle) Creme, Paul Creme, Anita (Pete) Sype, Diane (Robert) Morgan, and Michele (John) Bowman; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sister Doris Frastaci; sister-in-law Shirley Severini; and many nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to the loving people at Crossroads Hospice, Dr. Atul Goswami, and Dr. Andrea Waker; her loving granddaughter Laura Gunsch R.N.; and daughter-in-law Gayle Creme who provided groceries and meals throughout the pandemic. 

On Wednesday, June 23, 2021 an open casket viewing will be held from 10-11am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11am. The viewing and mass will be at Holy Family Church (3179 Kent Rd, Stow, OH 44224) ph. # (330) 688-6412. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
