Betty A. Testa, 90, of Uniontown, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 9, 2019 with her family by her side. Betty was a graduate of St. Thomas Hospital School of Nursing in 1949 and served her patients until her retirement in 1993.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Daniel Charles Testa; her sister, Madeline Jobe; her nephew, Pat Richardson and brother-in-law, Charles (Chic) Testa.
Betty is survived by her children: John (Donna), David, Danny (Dawn), Jerry (Elizabeth) and Marianne (Kevin) Tamminen; grandchildren: Brett Talcott, Ryan Testa, Nicole Pierce, Joshua Testa, Courtney (Paul) Stennett, Daniel (Sheila) Testa, Danielle Testa, Caleigh (David) Moats, Analiese, Joseph and Jacob Testa, David and Sarah Tamminen; great-grandchildren: Adrianna Pierce, Parker, Gabe, Eli and Gianna Stennett, Daniel and Weston Testa, Evelyn Moats, Beau Tamminen; her Prince, Buster; brother, Guy Wilhite; sister-in-law, Sue Testa and many nieces and nephews.
Mom, No matter what we do today, or where the future takes us tomorrow, we promise to remember all the things you've taught us and how very much you love us. And in case we didn't always say it and sometimes we forgot to show it, we wanted you to know we love you too, Mom.
Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main St. Akron with Father Sam Ciccolini officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. till the time of the service on Friday.
