RAFFAELA RUTH TRIOLA – 1924 TO 2015
Raffaela Ruth Triola passed into the loving arms of Jesus on January 1, 2015. She died peacefully resting in the arms of her husband of 67 years. She was 90 years old.
Throughout her lifetime, Ruth was a loving, caring and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her gracious hospitality and incredible Italian cooking was a blessing to her family and friends. Ruth enjoyed playing cards, dancing the Polka, square dancing, and dining at her favorite restaurants. She also loved exchanging cards with her God Daughter, Christine Ternosky. Ruth was an active member of St. Martha Parish/Blessed Trinity Parish.
Ruth was preceded in death by her Parents, Luigi and Lucy Limosana, daughter Lucille Triola, brothers Patrick Limosana and Michael Limosono, and sister Madeline Rinaldo.
She is survived by her loving husband Salvadore Triola, daughter Martha (Michael) Dain, son Samuel (Janice) Triola, grandchildren Andrew Dain, Alison (John) Daily, Sara (Donnie) Thorn, Joseph Triola, Laura Triola, Stephen Triola, and great-grandchildren Jack Henry Thorn and Annie Louise Thorn. Ruth is also survived by her loving sister and life-long best friend, Mary Triola, sisters-in-law Katherine Limosana and Sally Limosono, and many precious nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Raffaela’s family would like to extend heart-felt thanks to the caring staff of Summa Akron City Hospital Palliative Care floor and 4th Floor West.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M., Monday, at Blessed Trinity Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave., Akron, 44310. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 P.M., Sunday, at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main St., Akron.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blessed Trinity Parish or the Blessed Trinity Food Pantry.
