Abraham Jebber, born May 29, 1922 in Akron, OH passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 at Akron City Hospital.
Abe served in the U.S. Military during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a loving father and grandfather.
Preceded in death by his parents, Toofey and Barbara Jebber; wife, Betty; sisters, Ada Sokol and Helen Attalla; and brother, Eddie Jebber. He is survived by his sons, Deacon Dennis (Janet) Jebber and Tommy Jebber; daughters, Rosemary (Fred) Beaver and Diane (Barry) Billings; step-daughters, Carol (Frank) Fernandez and Becky (Terry) Rader. Abe is also survived by several grandchildren, many great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, October 22, at St. Joseph Melkite Church, 600 W. Exchange St., Akron. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 pm, Tuesday, October 21, at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main St., Akron, with a Memorial Service at 7:30 pm. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery at a later date.
