Bridget "Bree" Zendlo

Bridget M. Zendlo, 99, passed away on June 12, 2018 at her home in Cuyahoga Falls.
Bree was born July 17, 1918 in Akron to Joseph and Louise Bologna and grew up in North Hill. She lived with her family in Uniontown until 1974.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard P. Zendlo; son, Bernard J.; her brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Josephine Bolognue; and sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Frank LaRocca.
Bree was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She found happiness in cooking, baking and visiting with her family.
She is survived by her children, Annemarie (John) Biondi of Wadsworth, Peter (Wendy) Zendlo of Akron, Marilouise (Lawrence) Saltis of Akron; grandchildren, Gina (Albert) Geldres, Michael (Melissa) Biondi, Peter (Heather) Biondi, Michael, Mia, Katarina and Alexis Saltis, Olivia Zendlo, Jason Zendlo, Larry (Joan) Saltis, and Heath (Dorothy) Saltis; great-grandchildren, Logan, Gianna and Sofia Biondi and Bree and Alexandra Geldres. She is also survived by loving cousin, Frank Satina and best friend, Doreen Saltis; her beloved nieces, Donna (Jim) Destro, Lori (Fritz) Seachrist and Rosemary LaRocca. The family would like to thank Visiting Angels caregivers Sue and Caroline for their kindness and good care.
Friends may call Sunday, June 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hennessy Funeral Home, 552 N. Main St., with Mass of Christian Burial Monday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church.
